It is half term soon (actually next week for us and I expect most others?)

I’ve put together a revision set of questions for those preparing to sit GCSEs in the summer – one focus per day (I’ve tried to share up so that there is a focus on number one day, algebra the next, ratio and proportion, geometry and measures, statistics and probability. The idea is that students work through the questions for that day – a little bit each day which seems to be my mantra for preparing for GCSE mathematics exams.

There are three versions – a higher tier version aimed at those DEFINITELY doing higher tier and looking at levels 6 and above. Those at the cross-over working for 4 or 5 and those who would possibly be focused on securing a 3 or below.

For my class (currently I’m teaching a set 2) I’m giving them the higher and the cross over work to do over half term. Nothing wrong with giving a foundation student the cross over and foundation sections.

Solutions are included as well – I have produced these so expect (deliberate?!) errors!! If you spot anything, please let me know and I will correct.

Download them below – I’ve put editable word files and pdf files as well as a word file containing all three.

As always, these are free to download and use as you wish – feedback always welcomed either by email or through my twitter feed @mrchadburn.

Happy half term!!
